Metal Detecting has been a part of my life since the early 1980s. My father bought me a Whites Beachcomber which was very basic-no discrimination. He would bring me hunting with him and his friends and I would be so excited to find silver dimes. At 12 years old I found a 10k gold mens signet ring, which I wore to dinner after as a badge of honor. Over the years I've bought and used many detectors-I mean a lot of detectors. I have been very fortunate to find so many amazing artifacts and coins. I am in love with colonial history and spend most of my time detecting at colonial homesteads and in their fields (plowed and not plowed). I hope you enjoy listening to my stories. There are many from over 40 years of digging.
